HTLC conducts worship services and pastoral visitations the 3rd Sunday of each month at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center.
Vacation Bible School is HTLC's primary summer outreach to children in the Spokane Valley. A new theme is utilized each year based on a Biblical principle using skits, games and classroom teaching. We provide an unique experience for children ages 3 1/2 through 5th grade.
A component of Christian Education at HTLC, Sunday School is taught "family-style" -- a time of Bible lessons and fellowship together for all ages. All are welcome to attend the sharing of God's Word.
Serving God by Serving Our Neighbor
Everyone likes to feel included, and at HTLC, we want to help you connect to our church family! Traveling Dinners are a casual and fun way to get acquainted with people in our congregation, whether you are new or have been attending for several years.
Under the leadership of the Worship & Music Committee, this ministry serves HTLC by providing music and worship for all worship experiences and seeks to engage the entire congregation to participate in worship.
Provided on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The Community Dinner is a free family-friendly dinner for anyone who would like to have a meal in fellowship with others. This dinner is open to all -- including the community, members of HTLC and those groups that use the HTLC building.
Start your day in faith fellowship with others! The Breakfast & Bible Study group meets Friday mornings at 7:30 a.m. All are welcome to join.

Altar Guild Ministry designs, selects, and installs decorations for HTLC on an on-going basis as well as for special services, holidays and events. The goal of the ministry is to provide a Sanctuary that is both comforting and welcoming to members, guests, and visitors.
HTLC Greeters station themselves in the Narthex before worship services to offer a friendly smile, directions, and assistance to our visitors. The goal of this ministry is to ensure visitors feel welcome and have an uplifting experience that encourages them to come back again and again.
Ushers greet and direct worshipers on with a warm and embracing spirit. This ministry maintains an atmosphere of consecration and reflection toward God during worship service. The ushers seat members and visitors in an orderly manner, help with communion, and collect the offering.
September through May, each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. the Youth Confirmation class is taught by Pastor Jaynan. The junior high and high school students study and talk through the Small Catechism and the Bible. This is a great place for students to build a strong foundation for their faith.
